The Western Washington Theatrical Training Trust is a great opportunity for Local 887 workers to continue expanding their knowledge and training. Workers and their employers both contribute to funding the trust, and classes are open to everyone.

The International has training opportunities as well, under the IATSE Training Trust.

IATSE Local 887 will link to training opportunities for members as they become available. We encourage all of our members to continue furthering their training whenever possible.

The Western Washington Theatrical Training Trust is a continuing education program geared towards professionals already working in the entertainment industry. They provide courses that span the spectrum of theater and live event production disciplines, including audio, video, lighting, rigging, wardrobe, and beyond.
