    Glacier NW vs. Teamsters 174 Supreme Court case regarding the limits of a union strike. Specifically states that the union intentionally destroyed the employer's property during a labor dispute. According to the NLRA, a legally protected strike covers all actions except for those that cause material harm to people. The point of the strike is to cause economic injury to the employer.

    January BA Report Negotiations Mt.Baker:  We will meet with Mt.Baker back at the table February 2nd at 10am for their first wage counter. Tentative agreements have been made on most proposals, leaving wages and benefit contributions left to negotiate.  Cornish Contract: Ratified by all three IA locals and awaiting signatures from all three reps.

    December BA Report Dear 887, I would like to start my B.A. report with a heartfelt thank you for all those who reached out this month and stepped up to help with everything from negotiations to filling last minute calls. My family and I are going through a very difficult time.

    Covid Protocols:  Many of our venues are wanting to move to less testing, optional masking, and no longer requiring but recommending Vaccine. We will continue to stress that that backstage continue masking and regular testing. Please if you feel strongly about any of these reduction proposals, please write send me your concerns in an email.

    September BA Report Covid: We will still be asking all our venues to continue with regular testing, vaccination requirements, and masking. We have had two outbreaks amongst our venues this month and still have reason to believe that venues need to continue with regular production testing and masking requirements.
